Indie Untangled with Sassafras Knits
We are so excited to be joining 44+ other vendors at the 12th annual Indie Untangled Rhinebeck kickoff! Please join us for our first time in this fall tradition to start off a magical weekend of yarn, sheep and fiber friendships.
Browse a juried selection of hand-dyed, handspun and custom-milled yarn, spinning fiber, handmade project bags, stitch markers, jewelry and other accessories. After shopping, you’re invited to hang out, grab a meal or snack from our food trucks, and craft with old and new friends.
If you can't make it in person, you can still take part from wherever you are. The Indie Untangled Virtual Marketplace launches October 17 and runs through the end of the month, featuring products from all our vendors. Online registration is free and opens Sunday, June 1 at 12 p.m. Eastern.
When: 10 am to 5:30 pm on Friday, October 17th, 2025
Where: HITS on the Hudson, 398 Mike Krout Road, Saugerties, NY
How: Tiered entry tickets are priced from $5 to $35 and go on sale Saturday, May 31 at 12 p.m. Eastern. Timed entry tickets will provide access to 3 open-air, accessible shopping pavilions at a large equestrian property, with the Catskill Mountains as its backdrop. Depending on crowd levels, re-entry into the marketplaces later in the day may be permitted. Please click the button below for additional ticket and event info.
Why: Because Sassafras and I are so excited to see you in our shared booth and help you find your new favorite notions and accessories!
Purveyor of crafting tools, textiles, and more.
Rochelle (she/her) is the magical maker behind Sassafras Knits. Since 2020, she has been working towards providing beautiful & functional products to enhance and inspire your creativity from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Our take? She’s one of the kindest humans we’ve ever met and we own a large number of her stunning stitch markers, progress keepers, and jewelry. Her values and background in environmental science enable her to be eco conscience and have an encyclopedic knowledge of flora and fauna. For this event, she’s got a lovely witchy collection and we’re honored to have made some bags to stock in her booth. Be sure to come say hi and shop if you’re in the area!
